Dear Family, Friends, and Community,

            Our cousin, William Schlau Jr., was one of four Marian students involved in a car accident back on October 26, 2007.   Although William was fortunate to survive, he remains at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago where he has been undergoing intensive therapy for the past 8 weeks following seven weeks at Lutheran General where he was in an induced coma complicated by a stroke and surgery.

            To help our Aunt and Uncle with William’s expenses we are hosting a volleyball fundraiser on April 5, 2008.  The fundraiser will take place at Sky High Sports Center located in Crystal Lake.

            The tournament will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Junior High (6^th-8^th) division.  The other two divisions will be High School and Adults.  Captain will be notified in advance as to what time their check in will be.

            Depending on the number of teams, the tournament will be either round robin or double elimination.  Each team will be guaranteed to play at least two matches.

            A basket raffle and concessions will be available.  Please help us in supporting this fundraiser.
